Quick one on an ingnition problem: H.E.I. Dist, late 60's 350 No spark, have not pulled the plugs to see, getting fuel, new parts; ign. module-(pick-up) coil, cap, rotor, plugs and wires new a few years ago, but champions, my luck all 8 plugs are junk at the same time, forgot, should have got AC or Autolite ones, champs can be N/G, but never heard of all 8 goin at once, was running briefly after sitting awhile, will pull plugs and see when someone can turn it over whilst I watch, double check connections at coil, have power to coil at end of wire, have to check on coil side of connection, ground etc. but they are plugged in tight. Cap that I took out, around the brush, center of cap, spring loaded contact thing - looked like it got hot, burned up a little, figured that was it. not the first time this ole truck stumped me over the years, but always took another set of eyes to figure it out, always something stupid, These were always so easy to work on, must be losin it or somthin the older ya git... Had one of then accel modules in a vette w/350, on the dist. boy that started on the first turn every time, nothing like a hot ignition in these, even in this old plow truck, might just have to..
