It may not be feasible in your situation but numerous long runs of monofilament line spaced several inches apart over whatever your'e trying to protect might keep them from navigating around and landing. Birds like uncluttered air space. Large swimming pools in Florida have grid arrangements like this to keep ducks from landing and fouling the water. They are rigged high enough that they can't even be seen.
