TMay, I run duals on my ol 966. Same basic tractor as yours! Before you get the duals....Reset you rears out at far as possible and leaving room to put on a set of axle mount hubs. 2nd.... add atleast 700 lbs/on each rear corner. Liquid ballast will be the best in sthis situation for the liquid will be lower on the tractor as opposed to cast wt on the rear wheels. In my end of the world clamp-on duals are a dime-a-dozen. I got a set last spring for $2.00, yes that is two dollars! tires are 20% tread, all the hardward, except the Eyednuts that are placed on the tire wedge bolts in place of the nuts. The eyednuts cost new $4.00 each from Underfervth mfg.+ shipping! Where you can skirt the real sever slopes and attack them going in a down fashion, up on lesser slopes. Hope this helps! Later.
