Jeff, The Nebraska tests did not test engine horsepower. Test number 328 on the M yielded 36.66 belt hp and 22.05 db hp. Corrected to sea level this was 39.23 belt hp and 34.44 db hp. The M engine was the same engine as the U-6 power unit which was rated at 41 hp at 1500 rpm which is the SAE corrected horsepower of power unit, equipped with fan, radiator, air cleaner and governor. Continuous load rating is 90% of maximum. (In the tractor the engine was rated at 1450 rpm) Harold H
