Did he do a complete overhaul or just part of it? Also did a local deere dealer do it or an individual? Just wondering if he changed or checked the injectors while they were out. Also to breakin your new rebuild you should run it on a dyno about 15 min @ 25% power, 15 min @ 50% power then about half an hour at rated. Some people run them longer and some shorter but that is a good way to do it. This is usually how I break in a new engine. Check for blowby while on the dyno and be sure to check your coolant level when you get to cooled off. You could have oil in things but if the rebuilder did a good job he should have cleaned everything up before he put it back together and most of us run it on a dyno and break it in for you. Also make sure all of your air connections are tight and sealed up good. If it failed a turbo on the way home I would think that it had dirt somewhere that should have been cleaned up. The turbo should have also been checked when it was removed. If it was that close to going bad they most likely should have seen some signs of it. I'd check this stuff out and see where that gets you. Not blaming the rebuilder for faulty work, just looking at any possible angle. Hope this helps and good luck. Let us know what you find out.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
