Hi Bud, Yeah, I'm kind of familiar with those load testers; just kind of a shunted ampmeter, aren't they? Any time you have current moving in a conductor it sets up a magnetic field about that conductor, but I don't know if just bringing a wire to potential and then taking it away again would cause any actual electron movement since there is no discharge? Hence, no field? Dunno, have to ask the big boys. Allan
