i have a 1940 model sears cordwood saw model 413 4000. after you have removed the blade and clamps and retainer from the saw blade side. drive the shaft from the threaded end with a board and 8lb hammer thru saw blade bearing. this will drive the belt pulley bearing out.after the belt pulley bearing and shaft is removed put a 2inch pipe inside of housing and drive the saw blade bearing out. you will want to put plenty of pentrating oil on shaft on saw blade side, and both bearing outer races before driving with hammer. good luck bill
