I can understand the fellow's frustration - sounds like he woulda been serious at looking at it unlike the idly currious. You did the right thing. You made no promises, & sold to the 1st with cash. His comments were just frustration - kind of the opposite of backing out of the deal, he wished he woulda barged in a little stronger is all.
