I have a Long 1099. On a three point hitch, it needs a STURDY top link, preferably not conneected to the three point draft controls (and there are lugs on the differential housing of the 135 that can be used with a custom made top link) and a chain from the back hoe under the drawbar so the back hoe can use the weight of the tractor for down force. Otherwise digging just shoves the backhoe to the limits of the three point motion. I had it on my MF-135 with loader that had external hydraulics. Since then I moved the MF-236 loader to my JD 4020 (changed the valves from open center to closed center) and moved the back hoe also. I don't have the down pressure chain worked out as well, but the back hoe doesn't shove the 4020 around much.

My back hoe needs only 5 gpm, a bigger pump makes it hard to control, it moves too fast.

I had to replace a quad spool main valve in mine that I bought used and most of the hoses. I've also pulled the top pivot out of the boom and broken up the A-frame where a previous owner had tried to weld but didn't know how. And I had to replace a couple cylinders because the piston rods were pitted beyond repair.
