: : : Can anyone give me any information on a 1927 gibson tractor. Where they were manufactured, restored value, how many may still remain in existence....
: : :: It has been five years since I owned one and was in the Gibson tractor club.I am from Northern Utah and they are fairly plentiful for a Gibson.
: : I do not know if this club is still in existance: GIBSON TRACTOR CLUB, Dave Baas, Presisdent and founder. 4200 Winwood CT. Floyd Knobs, IN 47119. I used to have some information, but after two moves I can not find it. From what I remember, Wisconson engines predominently, lever and wheel steering and I believe they were built in Colorado somewhere. Hope this is acurate and Dave is still around.
: : GOOD LUCK
: I have some info on the Gibsons if you need it. What size or model do you have? Does it look like a home built with a 9hp wisconsin engine, no steering wheel but a steering stick? 16" back wheels? or is it a larger one with a 4 cylinder hercules engine? If you want I can snail mail you some of the factory info. The small ones are model A and there were about 50,000 of them made in Longmount Colorado and Seattle Washington. There are still lots in use (I have 3-A's) Fewer than 500 of the larger ones were made. But there were still lots of Gibsons that had hoods and fenders and steering wheels. Dave Baas still runs the club but I haven't had a news letter for some time

I would love it if someone could Mail me some info on the gibson I enhairted from my grandfather and this is not a joke I am 14 but I have had a love for tractors since I was born me and my grandfather rebult a gibson and when I turned 10 my grandfather restored it we now have 4 gibsons through out our famliy tree.

P.S. it is a smaller garden tractor with a wisconson air cooled engine model AEH what is the tractor model???
