Hey Dennis, sorry it takes me so long to get back to this site -- time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it? Sounds like either your distributor body is off 90 degrees or one or more tteeth may be gone on your valve-camshaft drive. I was unable to get any columns to line up as I tried to demo the valve chart I mentioned earlier, but it's easy to figure out. Starting with 0 for cyl#1 firing position, list crank positions in left column: 0, 180, 360, 540, 720(two full revolutions take each cylinder through a complete int-compr-power-exh cycle and correspond to 360 degrees of distrib rotor movement). In the second col, list the cyl# that fires at that crank position: 1-3-4-2, I think you said. Then fix a column for Int/Exh valves for each cylinder, think forwards or backwards from the firing position for that cylinder, and it's easier than a crossword puzzle. Let me know how it works out. Good luck! Tex
