Sray a burn down agent on it (round-up or something like it).At the most I would do is bush hawg it and then no till it.With it being fallow so many years the ground will be rid of compaction.Organic material on top of the ground is your freind.All adisc is going to do is pack the ground and all a fire is going to do is destroy ALL of the organic material that is there.
