You're getting good advise from the other folks. I'm working on 2 wagon tires, a cornsheller tire, and thinking about taking the (new) slow-leaker off the front of the IH 300, so I 'feel your pain'. :) Haven't done a little Ford front, but I would think they would come off very easy after you break the bead (put a plank on it & drive something on it), big rim. I would not _ever_ try to do this while a front tire was on the tractor - way too easy to knock it over & drop the rim on a hand or foot. I've taken rears off an IH H & the 300 while on the tractor, but that is easier to block up & more stable. We got our tools at farm auctions, even got a wore out (but helpful) tire changer now. The toughest thing ever was a 12 ply truck tire that had been on the manure spreader for decades, and the wheel had a shallow drop center - & a safety bead. Just breaking the bead was tough, but then to pry it over the rim.... All hand tools. --->Paul
