Well now if it was me first i would check the pressures on it first. , But this takes a special fitting and a gauges that will read 600PSI . You adjust pressure by turning the valve stem in for more and out for less BUT YA GOT TO HAVE THE GAUGE . As far as changing out the clutch pack about a couple hours because ya have to drain the rear end , ya also need a cherry picker to handel the pto as when you are comming out you must tip the rear of the pto down for the pickup tube to clear . then it is just a matter of popen out a large snap ring . But here is the kicker when ya have it out it is wise to REBUILD the whole unit . Now ya may have some leakage around the teflon seal rings or a wore out hub and loosen pressure there or a leaking O/RING in the clutch pack . HEre ya have to have a couple special tools to compress the drun down against the brake springs and releive pressure on the return spring and if you are handie ya can make up a spring compressor out of a pice of heavy plate two pices of all thread and a pice of pipe with a cutout to give acess to the snaprings. . IT takes me anywhere from three and a half to four and a half hours to rebuid one from start to finish and that includes doing a Hot set on the pressureas ya can not set it with cold oil and get it wright.When i do one i always change out the stock clutch pac for the heavy duty one and set pressure at between 245 and 265.
