I don't really know about the hp, they were bought for 72, but I went back to look in the papers of when they were bought new. The Long papers don't say, but the sales people wrote them up as 72 pto hp.
I thank you for your reply. Ours never were any good but I suppose there are exceptions to any rule, and I also suppose the dealer support you should get with new equipment could have been the problem. They possibly were not ever repaired right.
I don't know of any Bushhog loaders to compare to, but the problem I have always had is the welding breaking, the mounting bolts breaking, and the supports breaking. There has always been some part of it broken that should not break.
These tractors have never had a hard life, they were bought to bale hay and the loader to move hay and clean the barn. Neither has ever been used for construction or heavy regular work.
The one good thing I could say is that they always crank good, when thy charge the battery..
