Don't have them real loose, but that has helped mine sometime, but not others. The sledge tapping on the end of the axle can be a 30 pound post mall and be about right. You need to be able to turn the jack bolts. When I first loosened my 4020 wheels I had to use a 3/4 drive socket and a 6' piece of pipe on the slide bar wrench and then they screamed so much I had to wear hearing protection. But they loosened the wedge. I've since replaced them and they worked a little better but a long bar was better than my 3/4" impact wrench to move them. Gerald J.
