I have the first page of the parts book for the Styled NO 3 (1948 to 1951). That plus some other data given by an employeee of Farmers Union employee back then gives pretty conclusive evidence that the the begining of the "Styled" NO 3s (S 3) started in 1948 with s/n 3001 - 500 tractors made. None were made in 1949 , 500 in 1950 and the last was 1951 with 250. You can do the math and figrue out what year goes with what s/n number. Now how the heck did you get a D 3? I have seen one picture. They look pretty close to the "S 3" ( S meaning Styled 1948 to 1951)
