Darrel,

In 1935 the Duplex Printing Press Co. of Battle Creek, Michigan began producing tractors for the National Farm Machinery Cooperative. They were the #1, #2, #3 model tractors designed by Dent Parrott. They were painted red and used various engines, truck transmissions & differentials.
Co-op #1 1936-1938 Waukesha 4cyl. -133 cid
Co-op #2 1935-1939 Chrysler 6 cyl - 201 cid
Co-op #3 1936-1938 Chrysler 6cyl -242 cid

In the last week of 1940, the production of the Edward Ashley designed B2 Sr. began (The #2 and #3 may have been produced in St. Paul, Minnesota after the Duplex contract was dropped in 1938.) These tractors were also painted red using Chrysler engines and new process transmission and differential assembly.

Co-op B-1 1941-1942 Hercules 4 cyl. - 124 cid
Co-op B2jr 1941 Contential 4 cyl. - 162 cid
Co-op B-2sr 1940-1942 Chrysler 6 cyl. - 201 cid
Cp-op B3 1941 Chrysler 6 cyl - 242 cid
Co-op C 1944 Continental - 124 cid
Co-op D-3 1945 Chrylser 6 cyl - 250 cid
Co-op S-3 1948-53 Chrysler 6 cyl. - 250 cid
Co-op S-2 1952 Chrysler 6 cyl.- 230 cid

Suggest you consider joining International Cockshutt Club ($15 per year) as they also reference Co-op's. Perhaps they may have the October 1997 issue Volume 8, Number 1 which had an article on your Co-op D3. Try calling Dianna Meyers, 2910 Essex Rd., Larue, Ohio 43332 (614) 499-2961

Hope this helps!
