I think it can be depressing, one thing that helps with the onslaught of short days, is the hunting season, but after that ends, it's time to fast forward to spring ! Some of us here, try to get the big pond ( 23 acres ) cleared off, prepared, after it freezes, and get some hockey games going on Sat/Sun skiing and other activities close by in Vermont are always fun, but you do have to be creative and stay busy, kind of helps you get by. I've created some more space here to work in during this time, that has yet to be finished, it sure will be nice to have additional space to work on a few things, when the weather is cold, days short and the snow flies. Somehow we make it to the spring, kind of my favorite time of year, always enjoy it.
