I had one of those carports with those rebar anchors from the factory. I fail to see how a 3/4" rebar would hold down practicaly anything during a STRONG gust unless the carport is only pulled sideways. I put the auger anchors in myself and wrapped a chain around the carport frame. I would not have it any other way. Two hurricanes later and the frame had a lean to it but the anchors held it down without a blink. IMHO Make sure they are going to give you the larger auger anchors and not the ones to hold a dog in place. Worthless for this. Price does not sound bad at all for the large ones installed. It is worth something to have them put them in and be liable for them. Skipper
