Got mired in trying to follow the prewar Duplex manufactured Chrysler Cptn running gear CO-OPs. It looks like they were mf'd by Duplex for the co-op up to (and through?) WWII and by the Arthurdale company in 38-40 (or was the Arthurdale production in place of Duplex production?) and sold through Farmers Union Central Exchange/Farmers Tractor Co. Then after WWII, when Cockshutt took over, it looks like the original CO-OPs became Customs(?) Lehr Big Boys(?) Jumbos, which may be the Simpson Jumbo(?) Montgomery Wards(?) Norseman(?) Friday(?) I don't have any real specs on any of those, but it seems unusual they'd all use the CCptn running gear: Chrysler Ind eng, Dodge Trk trans/final drive , etc., even to their "fluid drive". Incidentally, Arthurdale is fascinating in itself: it seems it was one of the Depression-inspired "model agricultural communities" (many people thought it would take a generation or more for business to recover, and there was a back-to-the-earth movement to try to soak up some of the unemployed).
