Has anyone ever removed the rotary cylinder from a MF 220 backhoe. The shaft is broke on mine and I can take the cylinder off but the bottom gear is stuck in the backhoe shaft. I have removed the dowel pin and tried to pound the gear out with a long punch but when I put the punch in through the bottom I hit something soft before it gets to the gear and so I am not able to pound directly on the gear. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.
