Hello all, I picked up an old corn and bean planter made by a company called Sargeant Roundy, located in Vermont. I would guess its age at least 30-40 years old. Never seen one like it; uses a reciprocating drilled plate to drop seeds instead of a plate like the Deere planters I've used. Want to use it for sweet corn next year and was wondering if anyone had some idea of how well it would work for that (the plate holes seem kind of big for modern sweet corn), and also what the approximate value of this thing is (condition is good). Any other details appreciated. Thanks, Paul
