I hear ya! We had just a couple of things to fix/check over on our 1460 this summer before harvest (actually before I left to go back to work, gotta use slave labor while it's available). The more we looked at, the more we found wrong. Figured about $250 worth of repairs were needed and it would take 1/2 day... Spent 3 full days wrenching and spent about $1200 in parts. One of the parts was the harmonic balancer on the engine (about $300 or so) and that part saved a $7,000 engine. Preventative maintenance can be frustrating sometimes, but it will save you in the long run!
