MAN! For that price they can rot on the tree! I've been going around to people around here (SE Nebraska) and piccking them for free! I've seen lots of trees with tons on them and windfalls underneath - I've asked and not been turned down yet! We've been peeling them, slicing them, and putting them in the freezer. Got enough to make a pie a week for over a year (and extra for Thanksgiving), several jars of applebutter, applesauce, and a bunch for just eating.
