My father is a truck driver and his main complaint on the road is that the DOT officers do not WANT to deal with "four wheelers" that pull trailers. For example: I went with him one day and there was a 1/2 ton chev. pulling a trailer with a tractor on it and the chains were not even tight and we had one cab marker light out and we got stopped and received a fix it now ticket. We were following the pick up that had the unsecured load but apparently a burnt out marker light is more important that a loose load that could/and will come off. Sorry just venting a little. Trucking is a sensitive matter in my family. Brad
