YEP! ICD. Pacemaker and defib all in one. Had mine in 2 years and a half now. It just sets there in case I need it. They check the batteries about every 6 months. When I go to bed, I go to sleep and leave the worry to the machine. Best comfort blanket I ever had. If my brother had had one 10 years ago, he would not have died in his sleep..might still be here. Tell him to get it in as fast as he can, then relax and injoy life. Kennyp
