BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, get an operators manual for this tractor. Then before you try to start it read it all the way through. Two reasons for this, it will help you learn all about operation of the tractor and it will teach you to be patient when operating it. Get a manual from a ford dealer, Tractor Supply Stores or from this web site. (top left corner of this page) A tractor can kill you in seconds, there are plenty of people here that can tell you about old farmers who have spent their lives around tractors but lost their lives from split second bad decisions. Having said that, a tractor can give you many hours of satisfaction from restoration or just working it. Try to find some one who is knowledgable to give you a hand. Good luck, take your time and enjoy!
