Well, I got my socks on right so far by getting the cylinders out. Lots of gukk and dirt and I grunted a little to get one off. Now that the cylinders are off, I see the leather collars (about a 3/4" wide). They both look ok but I know that sometimes my socks don't match too :>) Now on the inside there is ribbed or wide spoke deal surrounding the connection shaft that is about a 9/16ths and a couple of inches long. Please correct me if I missing something (I know my terms are wrong). Now do I just pry that leather collar on the tip off with flathead or do I need to take the spoke thing off too? Thanks Scott ps. sorry I didn't have my camera with me or this could have been simplier to just show instead of explain.
