J.D. 4010 steering problem.

I have a 61 4010D with continuous steering trouble. Last year while planting corn the power steering on my 4010 started acting up, binding when turning left. I bought a rebuilt assembly out of midwest and installed it. It was newer style and I plumbed it up correctly also installing a bleed back line to the reservoir. It didn't work, still binding up. Sent the tractor to JD dealer who removed and rebuilt assembly, telling me it was out of a newer tractor. The steering worked fine haying the rest of the year probably 80 hours. I planted the corn again this spring, no problems. I put on the saddle tanks to sidedress the corn with a 3 point knife setup and after about 8 hours the binding is back. Took the rig off and the tractor is sitting waiting to go back to the dealer. When the dealer rebuilt the box last summer he told me the mechanic found small pieces of metal in the box didn't know from what. The hyd filter looked clean and the oil also,it was changed twice in the interim. The brakes are good ant tranny is nice and tight, it seems when you begin to use hitch and SCV this problem surfaces. I want to fix this problem this time for good. I know this is an old tractor but is in real nice shape powertrain wise,nice paint and rubber, 12 volt alt, and the rear differential was updated to a 30 series about 15 years ago. I only grow 200 acres of corn so it's not like it's being worked to death. I asked my dealer if it could be the supply pump in the tranny or some other hyd pressure problem and they didn't know. I've owned the tractor for 22 years and don't want to get rid of it because of this problem. Can anyone out help on this one?
