Allan; I think you are going about your dryland farming business the right way. The weeds need to be kept down and you are going about it the right way. You are only drying the top few inches of soil and you have to work it to keep it from blowing. Worked for a fellow one sumer and if I wasnt cutting hay or cultivating corn I was working summer fallow ground. First with a one way,next time over was with a straight disk and then a harrow. And that was the fun part. steveormary
