His grass his land or yours? His land $2 is pretty good. I do $1.50 a bale to custom bale. Your grass $3 is better. All fun and games until you blow out your rear pto unit on some one elses 200 bales of hay and your out $500 in parts. Or run a big rock through your haybine. Ask me how I know this? :-) I dont custom cut any more. There is a reason no one else will do it. Not trying to disurage you but have both eye open before you do it.
