Couple of the local corperate farmers have gone to buying new really big machinery like crazy. I don't understand it, how can they afford these super expensive toys when the guys who are using old "paid for" machinery can't turn a profit?. I sure wish I didn't have this urge to farm so bad, but I know there is no future in it. I'll have to cross into Canada to farm if I wanted to make some money, I hear milk is $20 up there and their goverment regulates it so that the market will never get flooded with product, so in other words, 1 man cannot have thousands of cows like they can here and ruin it for everyone else.
