Bought a cub cadet 102 a little over a month ago. I was told that it did run but then quit and wouldn't start. They never looked into it just parked it in the shed and bought a new tractor. They thought the rod had broke. I brought it home and pulled the head and the insides look like new. No ridge, no scoring piston works like it should. Put it back together and put a battery in it and it won't turn over. Has power to the switch but thats as far as I got. Where should I start? Also is there a way to put the power directly to the starter safely? Thanks mike.
