Jim, squirt a little motor oil in the cylinders to compensate for the new rings. Are you trying to check the compression with the injectors installed? Don't. Is the engine spinning or slowly turning? You could lose the compression past the new rings at slow speed. How is the valve timing, clearances and seating? Do you have the correct thickness head gasket? Too thick, low compression. Did you change pistons? Are they the correct size? Has the engine been bored? Did you give the parts supplier the serial no. of the tractor to make sure there was not a break in serial no.s and a change in parts. Had this to happen with a gasket set. Post results. Good luck
