backhoe questions

just got a minneapolis moline big mo 500. tractor has a front loader and backhoe. under the seat on the tractor on the center of the differential housing are two levers that come straight up out of the case. they move from left to right. any idea what these are for? the seller didnt know. the tractor has a 3 point with the controls to the right of the seat. there is a hydraulic selector valve on the fender to switch from backhoe to loader operation. i am not familiar with this tractor and i dont want to goof something up. thx glenn
