Hey Guy, My Mom has one of these cars (with same engine), although it is a 1997 - Don't know if this will apply or not. When hers came up with a no start, I was sure it was the fuel pump since I could not hear it spinning up. Took it to mechanic - he said they were known for a firewall bulkhead electrical connector coming loose. He tightened it, and no more problems. Just something you can check or try and no more money out. Good luck, Rob
