Called the Sheriff

So,

I buy this old trailer 6 months ago. Go to register it and the courthouse says I gotta drag the thing to town, as the sheriff has to inspect it because it came from out of state.

Fine, maybe someday I'll drag it to town; meanwhile it can just set out there in the county.

Broke a hydraulic hose this morning and have to run to town for repairs anyway; yeah, this will be a good time to finally get that darned trailer inspected and tagged fer the road in case I have to haul an old tractor 'er some darned thing.

Called the Sheriff's Office just to make sure someone would be there to handle this 2-minute chore, 'cause I don't wanna drag the thing in there in the first place.

Deputy tells me to set tight; I'll come to you, be there in 30 minutes. That way, you don't have to tow it in here to the courthouse; we don't have anywhere for ya to park it anyway.

Okay, fine.

Glad somebody wasn't breaking into the house; been watchin' the darned driveway fer 2 hours now, no deputy and I still need that silly hose.

My world is just one long horrid grind. :>(
