Agreed. When the loader is strong enough to pick up a useful load of rock and the tractor is small (under 6 or 8000 pounds), the rear wheels are in the air and you can't steer it anyway. A three point scoop can haul as big a load and puts it on the strong end of the tractor. A rear blade is superior to any way of using a loader and bucket for leveling or smoothing. Been there tried both ways on a MF-135. Now I put that loader on a JD-4020 and with 8800 pounds of tractor I don't loose traction when I fill the bucket with gravel. But more than a few inches in the bottom would get the back of the 135 in the air. Its important to put FAT tires on the front of a loader tractor. Otherwise the skinny tires cut ruts and power steering isn't enough help. I think I paid $50 for a Dearborn three point trip bucket. Works find for basement digging (with patience) though the 4020 and MF-236 loader digs like a bulldozer... Gerald
