a tough choice...

Ok, go to the bathroom and grab a bite to eat, this might take awhile. I was talking to my cousin last night, they are renting a house out on 80 acres in NE Iowa. This place belongs to my aunt"s late husband"s mother and brother. Does that make sence? Anyways, he was saying once they"re new kid arrives, they"ll be moving down to Florida and the house will probably be empty. I"ve allways liked this place, big house, mostly flat land, good outbuildings, beautiful farmstead. The land is rented out to a good nieghbor of theirs. I"ve been thinking for a while now about moving up that way and getting a farm, but firgured I"d need to find a job and a place first. When he mentioned this plan of them leaving, it got me thinking...should I ask my late step-uncle"s mom about renting the house and possibly later renting/ buying the place from them? I have a bunch of cousins that live in the area and I know a few other people up there. I can do concrete and masonry work, and I have a Class B CDL, so I think I could find a job up there. What do you all suggest to a young guy, should I ask and possibly uproot myself, or should I let this idea pass? Thanks for any help.
