I've have a problem with spark plugs burning rich, especially the first two, closest to the radiator. I've
redone/replaced all of the electrical components and rebuilt check carb. several times. Everything
checks out, compression is low but the same in all cylinders and does not burn oil. Only smokes
black when you throttle up to full rapidly or have big load on tractor. However I don't think it has a
thermostat or if it does I think it is open. Water just gets warm too touch after running for 45 minutes
or so. Could this be affecting the air/gas mixture and causing a rich burning plug? Any feedback
would be appreciated.
