Hi Mark, don't have or know the first thing about a payloader persay, other than what they are and used for and where one or two are setting and rotting. But listening to your problem, and I might be way off base, but if are sure the clutch and pressure plate are good, maybe a shifter fork for starters? I'm just thinking in terms of mechanicals being mechanicals, and having been there with those same symptoms with one of my Deeres. And in my case, that shifter fork cost me some teeth on a couple of gears and some $$$ to fix, so be careful with it. Good luck, Mark
