4010D is what I have and by choice. Sad tale to relate, loss of another 800 acres of cropland. Fellow I bought my 4010 from called, he is selling a 4040. Two years ago he fixed his son up with the farm so he could retire (he is 72). Last fall the son contracted the 800 acres to a timber co and it will be planted to trees. The pasture land is leased out. He really seemed sad on the phone. I would be too. Have a good day--

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
