An article in a reputable John Deere colletor's magazine a few years ago said the 435 "sounds like a chainsaw on steroids". The author of that article is found on here from time to time...maybe he'll chime in on this topic. They are unique sounding, for sure. Go for it if you can get it for the money you're talking about.
