Rob, Untill a few years ago, gasoline would not deteroiate much when stored two or three years. However, the modern formulated gasoline starts deterioating after about six months or so. This is what the antique car hobby has determined. I would drain all of the old fuel into clean cans and fill the tractor with new fuel. After the tractor is running, I would reuse the old fuel by mixing it with new fuel in the tank after the tractor has run some at a ratio of not more than about 20 to 25% old gas to 75-80% new gas. This mixture should run fine in the tractor and you will not be paluting the enviroment by disposing (dumping) of the old fuel. Harold H
