Here in the deep south this is the time for our New Year cool season crops. I already have my seed spuds. Need to get them ready for planting late Jan early Feb. Sweet peas to follow. Father's DayPine tree planting time is also now (Nov - Jan) while the trees are dormat. Tried the flowers idea late December but due to shallow seed bed and some recent heavy rains washed it all away. Not much lost except for time. Mind you my efforts are only truck farming and not full scale. Got to show SWMBO that the tractors add value :)
