I saw an f250, 2003 with a 6.0. It had a free carfax report that showed that it had only been in the shop at 15 miles for service, after that no report of service. It has 98,200 miles on it and no recalls according to fords recall website for this particular vin number vehicle. Does this sound like a really good 6.0? It has had 3 owners, I am not sure that they didn't get scared away and sell it. One owner had it less than a year and the last two owners were within a year (I guess a dealer counts as an owner?). It looks like it is a highway truck with that many miles. Would carfax show any problems with the engine that would have been covered under warenty. Also, what is ford offereing as an extended warrenty and does anyone know how long these engines last? What kind of mileage do they get also? Thanks Hurst
