Howdy! I would say the 8n because they are much easier to buy impliments for. Many of the attachments for the ferguson are unique to it because of changes made to the machine. Fergusons and 8n look similar but are different. I also have a 1948 cub along with a 1952 8n and if I had to choose between them it would be the 8n I would keep. Maybe I'm more attached to it since I have had it for 10 years! Luck my farm has enough room for both! But my dad's Ford 2000 has been tending them acres more years than the both of them! Have fun with what ever you choose.
