Just go to any autobody supply place, purchase wet/dry sandpaper in 1200/1500/2000/2500? grits, and a bottle of 3M plastic polish. Clean off the lights, sand them until they are perfectly flat and dull with the 1200, then move up the grits sanding almost as long with each one as the last. Use a sponge for a sanding block, and warm soapy water to keep everything nice and wet. If you hear scratching stop and clean everything or you will make new scratches. If your headlights aren't that bad start with 1500 at first, then move to the 2000/2500...

When you are done with the sanding the headlights will already look pretty good.. but if you take an ORBITAL buffer and use the plastic polish, you will make everything look as good as it is ever gonna get. This won't take out yellowing, unles it is only on the surface.

DO NOT USE A REGULAR HIGH SPEED BUFFER on the headlights if you have never used one before. A buddy of mine did that to his Subaru headlight and melted the surface layer of plastic. We had to start his job with 120 grit on a sander after that...;-(

I have saved a bunch of lenses this way.. You will find the plastic polish applied on a regular basis will keep the headlights looking good.
