Hi, Seems like it all depends, (on version, rpm, etc.). The early -71's were 2 valve, later with 4 valves, then with turbo. The earlier versions made about 25+/- hp/cylinder, depending on the rpm the hp was measured. I have an old 2 valve 3-71 that states "65 hp @ 1600 rpm" on a plate on the engine. I think it makes 75-80+ at closer to 2000 rpm. The turbo version w/4 valves is listed at 113 hp, or about 38 hp/cylinder, likely measured at ~2100 rpm. Changing the injectors to higher volume could alter any of this of course. Ray
